Loveland Ski Area
If you never went ski before and have a limit budget, Loveland Ski Area is a good option. There is a lot of ski area for you to discover in Colorado too. Since I never skied before, I chose to attend the Adult Ski Lesson. The package including rental equipment(snowboard or ski), lift ticket, and group lesson. For the beginner, I think this package is a good deal. You do not need to bring anything but arrive at lesson time. The staff will help you pick up the equipment at the rental place and company you to practice before you start to ski yourself. A group lesson can meet some new friends too! It's really cool to meet different people and laugh together while you fall into the snow.

Loveland Ski Area has a dining area too. If your lesson has cross the lunch time, you can get some food from the restaurant.
Mt.Princeton Hot Spring
After Ski, you may feel cold and tired. Hot Spring would be a good choice for you to relax! There are several hot springs in Denver for you to explore. Since my friends and I want to experience the hot spring in the river and also swim in the pretty pool too, we choice Mt.Prince Hot Spring. If you stay there overnight, the hot spring ticket is included. Grab the free hot chocolate, soak in the hot spring, and listen to the stream with refresh air is an amazing experience.
Good Time Adventure Dog Sledding
If you don't want to go ski, dog sledding is a cool winter activity too. We went Good Time Adventure Dog Sledding, but unfortunately, the weather condition was not good that day so we were late for the tour. Still, having a close look with sledding dogs is a nice experience.
Dillon Dam Overlook
This place is amazingly beautiful. You can park your car near the Dam and take a small walk. There are some activities nearby, such as boating or camping. Sadly we visited there during wintertime so we just took some pictures there.
Colorado State Capital
If you are interested in Colorado's beautiful golden roof Capital, there is a free tour you can visit that roof. Just walk-in the Capital and check for the tour time. You can enjoy the Denver city view outside the dome tour.
Denver German Christkindl Market
How to spend your night during your Christmas Vacation? Denver downtown's German Christkindl Market may be a good idea! There are delicious foods, small dancing pool, and music. You can even buy one cup of hot apple wine and bring back the mug as a souvenir for your holiday.
